What is a Chemical Peel?

A chemical peel is a skin treatment that uses a special blend of acids to exfoliate the outer layers of the skin. This helps to remove dead skin cells, improve skin texture and reveal brighter, smoother and a more even-toned skin. 

Chemical peels are completely customisable - they can be gentle for a fresh glow or more intensive for deeper skin concerns. 

How does it work?

During the treatment a solution containing active acids (like glycolic, salicylic, lactic or TCA) is applied to the skin. These acids gently break down the bonds between dead skin cells, causing them to shed or "peel" over the following days. 

This process:

What to expect during and after your treatment

Results: You'll see a smoother, brighter complexion within a few days, with continued improvement over time

Tingling Sensation: You may feel tingling, warmth or mild stinging for a few minutes. 

Aftercare: Skin may be red or slightly flaky for a few days depending on the strength of the peel. Sun protection is very important during this time

Peeling: Some clients experience visible peeling while others may not - both are normal
