Hyaluron Pen

Hyaluron pen is a non-invasive treatment that will give you a more natural appearance.

The hyaluron pen is perfect for creating volume, shape and lift and requires little downtime. It’s a great treatment to have done before a wedding or any special events.

What is Hyaluron Pen?

Hyaluron pen is a needle-free device that generates enough pressure to insert a highly concentrated hyaluronic acid cocktail through the skin. This procedure is ideal for anyone that is frightened or uncomfortable with needles. This pain free treatment is quick, safe and less invasive and allows you to plump up your lips and fill in any fine lines and wrinkles. The diameter of this microscopic hole is 0.17mm and is twice as small as the smallest insulin needle, making this procedure much more comfortable.

Areas that can be treated:

  • Forehead wrinkles
  • Vertical frown lines (11 lines)
  • Lips
  • Nasolabial lines
  • Marionette lines
  • Full face hydration

What is Hyaluronic Acid?

Hyaluronic acid is a natural sugar that is found in the connective tissues of humans and animals and plays an important role in cushioning and hydrating the body. It’s a powerful antioxidant that is best known for its ability to bond water with tissue, keeping your skin hydrated. It’s impossible to be allergic to hyaluronic acid as our bodies naturally creates it.

As we grow older the body decreases the amount of collagen and hyaluronic acid produced and skin becomes thinner and dry. This can cause skin to wrinkle and sag.

This treatment is a great way to keep your skin refreshed, hydrated and more youthful!

Is the procedure painful?

Everyone experiences the treatment differently and although some clients might feel slightly uncomfortable, there is no real pain involved. We use numbing creams to ensure the most comfortable experience. There is very little sensitivity to be concerned about and clients normally continue with their day. The most common side effects include temporary site injection reactions such as swelling, redness/tenderness, little lumps/bumps and bruising. If you are prone to fever blisters you might reactivate the fever blister after having the treatment. An anti-viral can be taken prior to your treatment to suppress the herpes simplex virus.

How long does results last?

Always remember that each individual is unique and many factors will influence the longevity of your treatment such as your lifestyle, hydration, the area treated and the amount of hyaluronic acid used. With the Hyaluron pen a package of 3 sessions, spaced 2 -3 weeks apart is needed to “build up” the hyaluronic acid. Once you are happy and have completed the package your results can last anything between 3 – 9 months, taking into consideration that our bodies break down filler differently.

What is the difference between Hyaluron pen and filler injections?

Hyaluron pen is a non-invasive treatment that will give you a more natural appearance. The depth that the filler goes into the skin is much shallower than needles. The hyaluron pen, when compared to needles, significantly minimizes the risks of infection, occlusion or pain. Injectable filler is a soft tissue filler that’s injected into the skin at different depths. The thicker the filler the deeper it’s injected. Filler injections can however give a more defined look than the pen.

If the procedure is performed by a trained professional that follows the correct protocol, it is absolutely safe

The serum only enters the epidermis (about 0,3mm, dependent on your skin), however due to no pocket being created (as with normal needle injections) and the viscosity of the serum, it may spread slightly to the very top layer of the upper dermis

Premier Hyaluron Pen Pro Academy has searched high and low for any legal documentations that might prevent us from doing this procedure in South Africa. We have not found or received any written documents so far. Training is only offered to qualified Skincare or Permanent Make up Professionals who have a good understanding/knowledge of the human skin

The procedure can be reversed by a medical professional by injecting Hyaluronidase
